Guide to Download Songs

Well most of us don't know how to download music from this site.

This site has some great collection of music including UK remixes..

The problem is that it does not provide any download link...for songs....

Heres a trick to download music....

1. Select an Album
2. Select a Song
3. Below the list of songs select "Standalone"
4. Now click on "Play Selected Songs" button...
5. A popup window will launch saying "Launch Player on your computer"....Click on the link..
(Make sure the default player is windows media player)
6. When it starts playing the song...Right click on top of the windows media player
7. Select File -> Save as
8. Save it on desktop or somewhere else...It will start downloading....

However the Quality of Songs is as follows:

Audio Sample rate: 44Khz
Channels: 2(stereo)
Audio Sample Size: 16-bit
Bit Rate: 64kbps

The only drawback is Bit rate.... but hey the sample rate is at 44khz and dual-stereo.... I have compared it with some music files having higher bit rate like 256kbps.. 2(stereo) & at 44Khz, but hey the difference is negligible..

Note: Old albums have poor quality.....but not all...... u can check that.....

wma is the lowest quality. but anywayz if you still wanna download here is my technique

if you want to download whole album. just select all songs and play in internet explorer. Right click on the player and open properties and copy the .asx file path. then add the copied link to cocsoft. it will start downloading all the selected songs.[/hide]

Download IDMAN..

install it.

play which ever song u wanna download.

IDMan will pick up that song..its not over yet..its just the .wma file

so for downloading the mp3 file...copy the file url

for example:

http://player2.pz10.com/files/5/5705/a3624943ceb59c95/5705-1.wma

add url in IDman by clicking on the first button add url and after adding change the file name to

http://player2.pz10.com/files/5/5705/a3624943ceb59c95/5705-1.mp3

thats all u got the mp3@128 kbps for which others pay 14 $ a month.[/hide]

wat?? marginally no way man..wma is the lowest quality and half the size of mp3..how can you say that its marginal....????

wma was at 44khz and mp3 was also at 44khz the difference was in bit rate........however if the file wud've been converted from mp3 to wma then becuz of quantization its quality is bad if not then human ear can't predict the difference...Moreover wma is in dual stereo...same as mp3........so we can say the difference is in bitrate...wma files are not bad when these are at higher bitrate.....What u say?????

wma file are only used for streaming music. you will feel the diffrence if you have a good sound system.

I listen on professional Sony Headphones.....and also on my 5.1 speaker system...that sounds great i think thats y i dont feel the difference.....lolz anyway..........what about [hide]

You can also use any seprate SOUND RECORDER like....EASY SOUND RECODER....

When u playng from raaga.com or like sites where u can't download songs....only listen is allowed....

These are steps:
1. Open the Sound recorder software
2. Set the SOUND RECORDING HARDWARE is as below:

Volume Control > Option > Properties > Recording > Tick 'Stereo Mix' OK

Note: Use Recording Volume 2-3 Bars (from Below)

3. Now you can play ur selected song.

Note: Use Playing Volume 3-4 Bars (From Below)

4. Start recording with Sound recording Software.....

Note: You can choose Format & Bitrate of ur Comfort.

5. Wait till Song Stop Playing.
6. Stop Sound Recorder.
7. Enjoy the Music...
