hi desi friends

my problem is that when ever i visit dindiaforum i saw only 2 or 3 members online and 15 to 20 guests.
guests donot register here they just look and have the links of the things they want and download them without bothering to be a registered member.so we should place all our links in codes and hide them so that the guests have to register here and become a part of the forum.BUT because of no hide option we cant do that so please provide a hide button so we can hide links and free(unregistered) users have to register to download something.

thats i have to say cuz i have seen this on many other forums.

Actually we did have a system of hiding the links here too, but then the requirements for seeing the link was to REPLY, the problem we faced then was that the freakin n00bs quoted the whole posts, which often has caps in it. what that did was eat up useful bandwidth.Even if we put the need to register in order to see the links, i am pretty sure, this is simply going to result in a plethora of new but inactive members..... thanks for the advise, we will see into this matter
